  • Planning the Program - format, content, venue, run sheets, AV/connectivity, working out the finer details
  • Return on Investment - budgeting, pricing, sourcing sponsorship
  • Being Flexible - adapting to change, contingencies, risk assessments, insurances
  • Building your Event Bible - templates, briefs, checklists, schedules, event calendars, licensing, certifications
  • People Management - crowd control, VIPs/guest speakers, volunteers and staff
  • On the Ground - bumping in/out, registration, onsite management
  • "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" - debriefs, post-event evaluations, feedback

Event Marketing: Tips & Tricks
(PM Session)

  • Knowing your audience - who and where are they, what are they looking for, what do they want
  • Branding your event - naming your event, creating a tagline and logo, visuals
  • Traditional vs. Digital - press releases, advertising, social media, direct marketing
  • Marketing on a budget - creating content, utilising local networks and events

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions regarding your own events and get some advice on what you should be doing to help deliver a successful event.
