Wellness Hubs Australia, an industry networking and business support group for the Allied Health Industry, will be launching in to Canberra on Wednesday 15 July at King O'Malley's Irish Pub.
Providing business support and education for local Allied Health business owners, the Hub holds monthly "Net-Learning" meetings, where speakers will share their knowledge on such topics as marketing, sales, PR, blogging, social media and finance.
The aim of the Hub is to help educate and support the Allied Health industry on the business side, of their business.
"Allied Health business owners are fantastic at the expertise they provide," says founder of Wellness Hubs Australia, Nikki White, "However our qualifications focus on teaching us how to be technically savvy, not business savvy. Our mission is to change this. We want to help Allied Health owners prosper in their business and to see the industry standards lifted across the board."
The Canberra Hub, headed up jointly by Canberra business owners, Lisa LaMaitre and June Kruska, will launch into the region with guest speaker Tim Hyde, of Win more clients, speaking on how to engage and retain more clients.
Not only are these meetings a chance for business owners to learn, they are also a fantastic opportunity to connect with other like-minded colleagues.
It's common in Allied Health to be working on your own. The Hub Meetings will give the Canberra Allied Health industry the chance to come together, connect and hopefully collaborate to help more clients be well." says Lisa LaMaitre.
The Canberra Hub meeting is on Wednesday 15 July, 9:30am – 11:30am at King O'Malley's Irish Pub, City Walk, Canberra.
Tickets are $44 and can be purchased via this website: http://mywellnessbusiness.com.au/event-registration/?ee=127
After that meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of every month.
